New SMI Chair - Congratulations Brian and Elizabeth

The Society of Maritime Industries (SMI) is today announcing that Brian Johnson of BAE Systems has been elected as its new Chair after Russell Gould of Hensoldt UK, stepped down. Brian has a strong history with SMI having been Chair of the Maritime Defence & Security Group and more recently an elected board member.

On December 12th, Nectar Cargo Handling Belgium received and handled the first vessel call for estuary container feeder vessel ‘Polybotes’ from the PortConnect fleet.
