Donald Maxwell Student Award
This competitive award is to support students studying for qualifications leading to Chartered status of the Institute of Marine Engineering Science & Technology (IMarEST). To be eligible a student should be both a UK resident and a student member of the IMarEST, able to demonstrate a commitment to Marine Engineering and/or Marine Technology. Also the student would ordinarily be studying in their third year at a UK based university or college, which is invited to submit up to three of their best student project reports. Competition is high for the £1,000 award which is presented each year at the Society of Maritime Industries (SMI) Annual Member Reception held in London.
