Digital Technology Group

This market area provides the focus for member companies involved the development and provision of digital services to the maritime industries. Member companies in this sector range from large defence primes through to Universities and SMEs focussed on niche areas of business.  All gain from shared learning, the creation of new contacts and increased awareness of new technological innovations often from outside the industry.

Activities include:

• Seminars on emerging technologies from developers and practitioners. Example subjects include block chain, digital twinning, open networks and artificial intelligence
• Awareness of new regulations concerning this sector e.g. IMO’s Cyber Risk Management
• Organising UK groups at the major international trade shows, giving member companies ease of access to these events
• Facilitating inward and outward trade missions to create business opportunities through greater international co-operation
