Wake Media Strengthens Industry Commitment as Member of the Society of Maritime Industries
Wake Media, the specialist marketing agency for maritime, has announced its membership of the Society of Maritime Industries (SMI), underscoring its dedication to fostering collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange within the maritime sector.
As a member of SMI, Wake Media gains access to a diverse network of maritime professionals and industry leaders, providing an unparalleled platform for sharing initiatives and expertise.
Wake Media is eager to engage and collaborate with fellow SMI members, particularly in areas such as strategic marketing and communications, digital marketing, content creation, market insights, and reporting, with the aim of driving innovation and promoting best practices within the maritime marketing sector.
Wake Media will also exhibit at SMM Hamburg in September as part of SMI's Showcase stand, located in the UK Pavilion on the upper floor of Hall B1.
Wake Media's membership with SMI offers industry professionals the opportunity to leverage its flagship platforms, including the Maritime Calendar and the Ship Newbuild Calendar.
Ship Newbuild Data, in partnership with BRL consultants, delivers weekly updates on newly contracted ship builds globally. These reports offer detailed insights into the shipyard, country, owner, and vessel specifications (including DWT).
The Maritime Calendar facilitates efficient event research and planning, providing quick access to comprehensive event details, filter options, Outlook integration, and premium downloadable content.
Steve Edwards, Sales Director at Wake Media, said, "Joining the SMI underpins our commitment to the maritime industry and helps provide us with an inside track of the latest news and developments on how the UK maritime industry responds to and embraces technology to meet industry regulations."
