Keir Gravil Joins as Managing Consultant
Stehr Consulting has also announced the appointment of Keir Gravil as Managing Consultant, leading its campaign on maritime sustainability, including Net Zero initiatives and ship and port decarbonisation. The role combines technical delivery across the organisation’s portfolio with business development, supporting the expansion of its commercial marine capability and helping clients navigate the energy transition.
Keir is a Chartered Naval Architect with extensive at-sea operational experience and a proven track record in commercial marine business management, safety assurance, and decarbonisation technologies. His ability to combine technical depth with commercial acumen, alongside alignment with Stehr Consulting’s culture and behaviours, supports the organisation’s objectives at this stage of growth.
Ashley Stehr, Director and Principal Consultant at Stehr Consulting, commented:
“Keir is an excellent choice to grow our maritime decarbonisation portfolio. His blend of technical depth and commercial acumen, combined with his alignment to our culture and behaviours, makes him ideally placed to help us at this important stage of growth. We’re excited about the impact he will have as we expand our maritime sustainability offering and continue to deliver meaningful change for our clients.”
Industry Representation Update
Following Keir Gravil’s appointment, Ashley Stehr will step down from the Society of Maritime Industries (SMI) Commercial Marine Group (CMG) Council, while Keir will continue his role on the Council, now representing Stehr Consulting.
