SOLAR SOLVE WINS ANOTHER EXPORT AWARD!
Julie Lightfoot MBE, Managing Director of Solar Solve Ltd was delighted when the company received news that it had been shortlisted for two export awards in the same week back in February 2020.
The first one was for the North East FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards 2020 in the International Business of the Year category, where judges were looking for businesses that could demonstrate how working internationally had benefited their business profitability, growth and strategy. Solar Solve went on to win the North East Area award. The finals have yet to take place due to Covid restrictions.
The second award was for a PD Ports Northern Powerhouse Export Award 2020. The 2020 PD Ports Northern Powerhouse Export Awards, in association with HSBC, recognises export achievement across nine individual categories. The ceremony took place ‘virtually’ on 3rd December 2020 and Solar Solve was delighted when it came first in its category to win a PD Ports Northern Powerhouse Exporter of the Year Award. The award recognises outstanding achievements in export growth by a company in any industry. The success was measured by growth in sales and market penetration together with the application of innovative market strategies to extend export potential.
Julie commented, “We are delighted to win yet another award, it is a significant achievement for the team at Solar Solve to win awards as it recognises the hard work and dedication of our staff. It’s a great way to promote the success of our unique business, to build brand loyalty and attract new customers”.
