SMM Hamburg Maritime Industries Showcase
The Future of Maritime Technology - UK businesses driving maritime change
The UK Department for International Trade, in collaboration with the Society of Maritime Industries (SMI), is holding a solutions-based seminar to showcase pioneering UK engineering and advanced technologies that are setting the standard in driving maritime transformation.
This interactive seminar does not aim to reassess or re-identify the key challenges of maritime decarbonisation. Instead, it provides a showcase for innovative technology & engineering and organisations who have commercially viable and readily available solutions that are beyond prototypes and pilots. Participants will hear of next generation developments that will help vessel builders, owners and governments face the challenges of technology transformation and a more sustainable maritime future. It will take place on the second day of the show (7/09/2022) in seminar room A3.2. Starting at 10.30 to 12.30.
Speakers to include representatives from (subject to confirmation):
- Artemis – Americas cup to e-foiler
- Silverstream – air lubrication technology
- Windship – Sail propulsion innovation
- Ecomar – hydrogen ready outboards to inboards
- Cyber Owl – cyber age security
- Sonihull – advanced coatings for smooth sailing
