Seawork Announced as Bronze Sponsor for Society of Maritime Industries Conference 2025

The Society of Maritime Industries (SMI) is pleased to welcome Seawork as a Bronze Sponsor for the SMI Conference 2025, taking place on 1st April 2025 at the Leonardo Royal Southampton Grand Harbour.
This year’s SMI conference will explore the future of the UK naval and maritime security enterprise, highlighting emerging opportunities within the sector and providing a platform for valuable stakeholder engagement. We welcome the support of Seawork as bronze support.
Seawork is a vital platform for the UK maritime industry, serving as Europe’s largest commercial marine and workboat exhibition routinely welcoming over 7000 industry professionals each year. Seawork plays a crucial role in driving innovation, collaboration, and growth within the sector by bringing together maritime professionals, manufacturers, and service providers. SMI is proud to be a longtime collaborator of Seawork, promoting the value it brings to the industry as a key forum for discussion and engagement. We are delighted to once again partner to deliver the SMI Hub at Seawork, sponsoring the Innovation Showcase and assisting in the delivery of SPEED@Seawork this year.
Tom Chant MBE, Chief Executive of the Society of Maritime Industries, stated:
"We are thrilled to have Seawork as a sponsor for this year’s event. A longstanding partner of SMI at Seawork and Speed@Seawork events, it is fantastic to have them onboard and supporting the SMI Conference this year. As a leading platform for showcasing innovation within the maritime sector, Seawork plays a pivotal role in connecting businesses, promoting industry advancements, and supporting the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises, a drive which is shared by SMI. As we both deliver events within the key maritime territory of Southampton this year, we’re reminded that collaboration is central to driving forward the overall progress of the industry and look forward to supporting each other in these endeavours"
We look forward to engaging in valuable discussions involving sustainable developments in maritime, as well as exploring opportunities to engage with and overcome emerging challenges. There will be many chances for delegates to engage in the day’s programme via interactive Q&A sessions, as well as enjoying the space to meet with other members of the sector during the event’s extended networking breaks.
