Royal Navy Seeks Insights on Augmented Reality for Naval Ship Bridges
The Royal Navy has initiated an exploration into the potential applications of Augmented Reality (AR) technology on Naval Ship Bridges. This development is part of the NavyX Augmented Reality in Ships Bridge Operations project.
As of now, the Royal Navy has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to industry experts, inviting insights and proposals on the innovative use of AR in ship operations. Responses to this RFI must be submitted by 12:00 on Tuesday, 19th December 2023.
