Royal Navy Seeks Input on Safety-Critical Data Analysis

The Royal Navy has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to industry experts for insights into analysing safety-critical information within the Navy Lessons Information Management System (NLIMS), slated for retirement. Holding 37,000 safety-critical records, NLIMS will be replaced or integrated into the Defence Unified Reporting and Learning System.
The RFI isn't a bid but a call for information. Subsequent procurement will follow competitive processes. The goal is to understand available technologies, align with industry standards, and develop a cost-effective procurement strategy.
Interested parties should respond by 12:00 on 15th December 2023. The RFI outcomes aim to enhance the Authority’s understanding, align requirements with industry standards, and develop a procurement strategy for Defence.
Confidentiality is stressed, and proprietary information should be clearly marked. All costs related to the response are the responsibility of the respondent.
For further details or to respond to the RFI, contact NAVYCOMRCL-RFI(at)mod.gov.uk, quoting the RFI reference.
