Robosys Automation partners with ACUA Ocean to Integrate Voyager AI Systems With ACUA’s hydrogen-powered USV

Robosys and ACUA Ocean have partnered to integrate their technologies to further advance the marine industry towards zero-emission technology. ACUA's Unmanned Surface Vessels (H-USV), powered by hydrogen, will be combined with Robosys' cutting-edge Voyager AI vessel control systems.
ACUA Ocean's commitment to advancing its range of long-endurance hydrogen-fuelled uncrewed surface vessels aligns seamlessly with Robosys' Voyager AI, renowned for delivering autonomous navigation and remote control for unmanned surface vessels. The collaboration will see a phased integration of Voyager AI software with ACUA's hybrid electric and hydrogen propulsion systems, promising unparalleled precision in USV monitoring and protection across diverse oceanic operations.
Nigel Lee, CSO of Robosys Automation, which is headquartered at the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton (UK), comments, "Combining the unique features of ACUA's H-USV with Robosys' Voyager AI solutions will result in ACUA Ocean's pioneering H-USV continuing to be the most innovative unmanned surface vessel available in the market, both now and in the foreseeable future."
The H-USVs, equipped with Robosys' solutions, will operate to Workboat Code Edition 3, Annex 2, ROUV standards. The partnership includes collaborative efforts with the Maritime Coastguard Agency and Lloyd's Register, aiming for UK Flag and vessel class society certification, showcasing a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
