Robosys Automation Launches New Software Autopilot, VOYAGER AI SMARTPILOT™

Robosys Automation, the specialist vessel control systems and advanced maritime autonomy developer, has unveiled its new VOYAGER AI SMARTPILOT™ software autopilot at the Autonomous Ship Expo in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Robosys’ VOYAGER AI SMARTPILOT™ is an intelligent and cost-effective software autopilot delivering effective dynamic positioning and station keeping for integration with Electric Propulsion systems for smaller commercial craft and recreational boats.
Removing the limitations of traditional hardware autopilots that manage steering and course only, the VOYAGER AI SMARTPILOT™ software autopilot integrates with propulsion for speed control for single and double inboard engines, and single, double, triple, and quad outboards.
Developed by Robosys Automation, VOYAGER AI SMARTPILOT™ is an intelligent and affordable software autopilot software, providing effective station keeping and dynamic positioning for small boats operating with both traditional engines and e-propulsion systems.
VOYAGER AI SMARTPILOT™ is an intelligent and convenient software autopilot, removing the need for a hardware autopilot and its associated challenges. This innovative integrated boat control solution enables total peace of mind due to its cutting-edge navigation and manoeuvrability.
Whether integrating into a newbuild or retrofit craft, VOYAGER AI SMARTPILOT™ delivers a fully functioning autopilot solution with smart features including Speed Control, Heading Hold, Active Loiter, Course Hold. Options include Vector Thrusting, Joystick Control, Remote Helm and Virtual Anchor. The autopilot can also be upgraded, including a Charting Application (Chart Plotter) enabling Waypoint Tracking, Route Following, GeoFencing, Obstacle Avoidance, Collision Avoidance, and Track Control; to deliver a vessel operating with full Autonomous Navigation utilising Robosys’ VOYAGER AI award-winning advanced autonomy suite.
