QinetiQ - Refreshing the EDP Provider Network
It’s nearly two years since the first call to industry to create a diverse, collaborative and sustainable Provider Network for the Aurora Engineering Delivery Partner (EDP) programme and it is now time to refresh the network. A partnership formed of QinetiQ, Atkins and BMT.
Collaboration and innovation have always been part of Aurora’s approach to supporting Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) and the MoD Front Line Commands. As part of refreshing the Provider Network, the Aurora Engineering Partnership are looking to build an improved and diverse community of providers that share the vision for agile, assured and cost effective Engineering Services – and that will help companies innovate and meet front line needs now, and in the future.
As Aurora enters the next phase of the EDP programme, they are calling for companies within and also outside of the defence sector who are innovative, adaptable, and agile, to register their interest in the Provider Network and help deliver high quality and cost effective solutions for the teams on the front line.
Since its launch, the Provider Network and Aurora Engineering Partnership have together delivered engineering that matters to DE&S and those on the front line. As a collective its continues to grow and support DE&S and the wider MoD for engineering service delivery on key national defence programmes and are an integral cog for programmes such as the Royal Navy’s and RAF’s Lightning II aircraft; the Royal Navy’s surface fleet; and Electronic Counter Measures Capability.
If you would like to know more, you can read more in the Aurora Engineering Partnership Annual Review here.
Through the Aurora Engineering Partnership website, Aurora has put out a call for Expressions of Interest (EOI) for any UK based companies interested in joining the Provider Network. Companies can register their interest in joining the Provider Network by clicking here.
