QinetiQ and Sonardyne Collaborate to Drive Technological Advancements at REPMUS 2023

QinetiQ and Sonardyne International Ltd joined forces at the annual Robotic Experimentation Prototyping Augmented by Maritime Unmanned Systems Exercise 2023 (REPMUS) off the coast of Portugal in September, marking a significant stride toward modernising Test & Evaluation within the maritime industry.

This pivotal event saw a diverse assembly of Naval Forces and supporting industries convene to delve into the possibilities presented by emerging technologies, underlining the ever-growing importance of innovation in maritime operations.

A notable highlight of the event was the showcase of the Deployable Underwater Tracking Range (DUWTR) by QinetiQ. This cutting-edge technology effectively tracked multiple unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs) that played a crucial role in the underwater initiative. The seamless integration of data through QinetiQ's Quasar command and control software added an extra layer of efficiency to the proceedings.
