The aim of this engagement is to commence a conversation between the Royal Navy and industry partners on capability’s that will accelerate lethality and autonomy for the RN with a specific focus on using NavyX maritime platforms (MADFOX, APAC24 or XV PATRICK BLACKETT).
NavyX will set out its vision and a high-level overview of aspirations going forward to see how future projects might exploit our experimentation platforms. At this event, there will be an opportunity to get on board XV PATRICK BLACKETT.

Places for this event are limited to 50 attendees and only one attendee will be selected from a company, to accommodate attendance from as many different organisations as possible. Attendees should be technical subject matter experts able to represent their products and services and should be able to discuss the principles, challenges, concerns, and examples of their respective business.
Attendees will be split into two groups of 25. The intention is to have one group of suppliers that are completely new to RN as they will require information in their briefing that will not be relevant to suppliers who are more familiar with RN.
We anticipate that this event will be oversubscribed therefore NavyX will hold a register of interested parties which will be used for other NavyX future events.
If the event is oversubscribed, the following criteria will be applied to down select attendees:
- The company must supply new products not currently used in the RN.
- The company must supply products that can be tested on the NavyX maritime platforms.
- The company supplies products that adds capability to maritime autonomy system of systems.
Registration will close at 1700 Friday 16 September 2022. There will be a request sent out for further information which must be received by 1700 Monday 19 September 2022. Additional detailed information and joining instructions will be sent out to successful attendees by Midday 21 September 2022.
