Marcel Botha, MBA, Appointed as Chief Revenue Officer at Sonihull

Sonihull is pleased to announce the appointment of Marcel Botha, MBA, as the Chief Revenue Officer. With over 20 years of experience in Global B2B Sales and Strategic Business Development roles, Marcel brings a wealth of expertise to this position.
Marcel's key strengths lie in his extensive international experience in increasing revenue and growing existing accounts. His leadership abilities are well-proven, as he has effectively led teams through communication, coaching, and development. Marcel excels in stakeholder management and influence, particularly with C-Level executives, building trust at all levels. He is a strategic and result-oriented professional who consistently delivers on target with an entrepreneurial and hands-on approach. His communication skills are excellent, enabling him to convince, motivate, and inspire people while effectively managing teams.
Among his notable achievements, Marcel served as the Area Manager for SIG in Sub-Saharan Africa from 2011 to 2016. During his tenure, he successfully set up the Sub-Saharan office and delivered double-digit growth year-on-year in revenue and EBITDA. He also significantly increased market share by more than 20%. In his role as the Commercial Manager for SIG in the Middle East and African region from 2016 to 2017, Marcel expanded the regional business footprint, delivering revenue and market share growth, and successfully secured existing key account contract renewals.
In his current role as Global Sales Director at Sonihull Ultrasonic Antifouling, Marcel is responsible for overseeing sales activities across North America, the Middle East, and the UK. His extensive experience and strategic thinking make him a valuable asset to Sonihull as they continue to grow and innovate.
