Invitation to hear from in-country experts to learn more about Korea's shipbuilding landscape including new business opportunities, best practices, and current trends.

The Department for International Trade (DIT) Seoul, in partnership with Valmax Technology Corporation and Kunsan National University (KNU) is organising a webinar to present the maritime opportunities for the UK in South Korea. The DIT Seoul team has been working with a group of Korean shipbuilding experts from the industry, university, and research institutions to conduct research on what technologies the UK can offer to Korean shipbuilding companies, and the findings will be presented by KNU's Associate Professor Bonyong Koo.
South Korea, in recent decades, has built a reputation as one of the most advanced and important shipbuilding countries in the world. South Korean shipyards are actively supporting advances in the sectors of decarbonisation, autonomous ships, and smart yards in order to lead global paradigm shifts, all of which create significant prospects for British companies with innovative technologies.
