Innovate UK's Global Business Innovation Programme for Singapore's Clean Maritime Sector

Innovate UK is offering a chance for 15 UK-based companies to expand in Singapore's clean maritime sector through the Global Business Innovation Programme (GBIP). The programme, set for April 12-21, 2024, aims to support innovation-led companies in the UK, helping them grow and internationalise.
The three-stage GBIP starts with a preparation phase to equip participating companies for challenges and opportunities in Singapore. A tailored visit during Singapore Maritime Week follows, providing a chance to engage with local innovators and industry events. The exploitation phase includes personalised support from an Innovation & Growth Specialist to implement strategies gained during the visit.
Clean maritime solutions under focus include autonomy in maritime transport, digital technologies for decarbonisation in ports and vessels, and advanced cybersecurity technologies.
The application deadline is January 26, 2024. Innovate UK covers travel and accommodation costs for successful applicants, with a nominal and refundable commitment fee of £500. For UK companies interested in clean maritime innovation, this programme offers an immersive experience in Singapore and the opportunity to forge valuable partnerships. Apply before the deadline to be part of this journey into the heart of Singapore's clean maritime sector.
