Expression of Interest: Albert Island Shipyard

The communication relates to the Albert Island project as you or your organisation has previously expressed or registered an interest in the Albert Island development.

Also included is the delivery of a boatyard for London or another aspect of the project in the past. We are excited to inform you of our progress with the project and to offer you this opportunity to respond to the EOI working with our development partner London and Regional Properties.

Albert Island is located immediately to the east of London City Airport in the Royal Docks, London's only Enterprise Zone.

The Royal Docks is an area in the London Borough of Newham which is currently undergoing an exciting transformation that forms part of ambitious regeneration plans recently announced by the Mayor of London and Mayor of Newham.

Substantial investment has been committed over the next five years to help unlock the area’s extraordinary potential that includes the development of Albert Island, where the creation of major technology and business facilities, a new shipyard, alongside a Transport Institute and innovation centre is proposed.
