90POE Expands into APAC with New Singapore Office

Maritime technology company Ninety Percent of Everything (90POE) today announces its expansion to the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region with the establishment of new offices in Singapore. This move highlights 90POE's commitment to enhancing maritime digitalisation and sustainability across the sector.
Building on its successful presence in Europe’s key maritime hubs, 90POE continues its global growth by expanding into APAC, recognising the region’s pivotal role in maritime trade, and particularly in shipping and commodities. The region presents multiple opportunities alongside unique challenges, making local expertise and scalable solutions essential.
The new office will support ship owners, operators, and managers in enhancing efficiency and sustainability using OpenOcean STUDIO, its dedicated maritime operations platform. This comprehensive digital solution leverages advanced data analytics and Artificial Intelligence to optimise costs, reduce emissions, and drive safer, more reliable, and compliant operations, enabling management by exception in a heavily competitive and regulated industry.
After carefully assessing the unique needs and characteristics of the APAC maritime industry, 90POE has appointed Mark Sundrum as Business Development Director to lead the new Singapore office. With over 20 years of experience in the APAC maritime sector, including in roles at sea, Mark brings extensive expertise to support the company’s regional growth.
Richard Buckley, Founder and CEO of 90POE, stated about the expansion:
“At 90POE, we are strong advocates for the use of digital technology to transform maritime operations, enhancing efficiency and sustainability while ensuring compliance with evolving regulations.
Our decision to expand into Singapore is a natural step in our journey. As a global maritime hub at the heart of APAC, Singapore is known for its progressive approach to digital innovation, its commitment to sustainability, and its pivotal role in international shipping and trade. This expansion is more than just business growth—it’s about deepening our engagement with customers and partners in the region who share our vision for a smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable maritime future.”
