2021 will see a major oil and gas company shift their entire business to renewables
Tony Hodgson, Regional Strategic Sales Manager Europe and Africa
Globally, we have now reached a tipping point when it comes to renewable energy sources. Resisting the shift to green energy has been shown to not only be futile but also bad business practice, given the increase in consumer demand. This year has seen governments around the world making significant commitments to sustainability and a green agenda. As 2020 provided the catalyst for a cultural reset, so 2021 will see these initiatives start to impact real-world practices. The rise of renewables is key to the long-term revival of the global economy and the job market will be consequently buoyed by this new focus. As both infrastructure and energy companies turn their attention to a greener future, in 2021 we should not be surprised if we see a major oil and gas company announce a complete overhaul of its current business practices to become 100% focused on renewable energy sources.
