SMI in partnership with the Department for Business and Trade and the British Consulate-General, Istanbul invites you to participate in an exclusive mission to Tuzla, Turkey, designed to enhance collaboration and opportunities between UK companies and Turkish shipyards. Itinerary:
Monday, 17th March
Afternoon: Travel and arrival at the Mission Hotel, Holiday Inn, Tuzla.
Evening: Mission Welcome Reception and networking with shipyards, agents and distributors, featuring a table-top exhibition area for UK companies.
Tuesday, 18th March
Shipyard visit: Yonca Shipyard, Tuzla
Shipyard visit: Sanmar Shipyards, Tuzla
Evening: Mission Dinner with Senior Consulate Officals, shipyards, GISBIR representatives and the Turkish Chamber of Shipping
Wednesday, 19th March
Morning: Tersan Shipyard visit.
Afternoon: Cemre Shipyard visit tba.
Late Afternoon/Evening: Optional free time or return travel.
Thursday, 20th March
Morning: Return travel to the UK.
Mission Fee
The Mission fee at the SMI Member rate is £750 plus VAT
The Mission fee at the non-Member rate is £810 plus VAT
Mission fee inclusions: mission travel from hotel to shipyards, evening dinner and evening receptions.
Mission fee exclusions: Accommodation at the Holiday Inn, Tuzla (SMI can provide links for preferential rates of 120 Euros per night including breakfast). Flights, airport transfers and any local expenses.
