Team Resolute Meet the Buyer Events
Team Resolute, a UK consortium consisting of Harland & Wolff, Navantia and BMT, is pleased to invite you to its first series of “meet the buyer” events, due to take place around the UK in February 2022.
The events come as Team Resolute looks to build up its supply chain in preparation for the Fleet Solid Support (FSS) warship build programme for UK Ministry of Defence. It is determined to make sure the UK supply chain fully benefits from the significant FSS programme as well as the wider opportunities this international collaboration will bring, including transfer of technology and Navantia’s Shipyard 4.0.
Team Resolute has teamed up with SMI and ADS and invite you to attend these supply chain events which will give you the opportunity to understand more about Team Resolute, the FSS programme and other long term opportunities. It will match businesses in relevant sectors with its procurement professionals – giving unprecedented access to buyers and decision makers from Harland & Wolff, Navantia and BMT.
There will be a packed agenda with speakers from across all three businesses who will lay out the support we are seeking and we then welcome engagement in the 1-2-1 sessions on how you can support Team Resolute.
We welcome all suppliers but are particularly keen to hear from UK SMEs and manufacturers, and would be delighted to engage in conversations regarding:
- Power & propulsion - including IPMS
- Mechanical Handling – including RAS and stores handling equipment
- HVAC systems and equipment
- Electrical systems and equipment
- Mission Systems – including bridge, navigational, radar and external communications systems
- Ship build support
- Ship fitting
- Hull systems
- Shipbuilding trades (welding, scaffolding, electrical, mechanical, Integration)
- Engineering
- Other Equipment/Services
We are closely monitoring COVID guidance and whilst we will endeavour to keep our physical events in place, contingency plans are in place should these events not be able to go ahead in person.
The events are free-of-charge to attend and lunch and refreshments will be provided.
