SMM 2026 - Booking Form

INTRODUCTION
SMM is one of the world’s leading maritime trade fairs, bringing together key players from across the global shipping industry. Held biennially in Hamburg, SMM provides a dynamic platform for showcasing innovation, driving collaboration, and shaping the future of the sector.
With more than 2,000 exhibitors, 90,000+ square metres of exhibition space, and an international visitor base of around 50,000 professionals, SMM covers the full spectrum of the maritime value chain. From shipowners, operators, and shipyards to technology suppliers, classification societies, and ports, the event attracts senior decision-makers and high-level buyers from across the world.
At the heart of the show are the themes of digital transformation, decarbonisation, and smart and sustainable shipping. The exhibition is complemented by a rich programme of high-level conferences, technical workshops, and networking events, making SMM a key meeting point for business development, thought leadership, and industry insight.
Whether you're looking to launch new solutions, connect with international partners, or explore emerging technologies, SMM is the place where the maritime world meets.
JOIN THE SMI SHOWCASE STAND AT SMM 2026
The Society of Maritime Industries (SMI) invites you to be part of the SMI Showcase Stand. We understand that many companies would like to exhibit but, due to budget constraints, often opt to walk the show instead. The SMI Showcase is a shared space designed to bridge that gap, offering a smart, visible, and supported presence within the UK Pavilion.
Why join the SMI Showcase?
· Branded ‘Meet & Greet’ POD space: Your own company-branded Pod with a lockable cabinet for storing brochures and promotional material, providing a convenient ‘meet & greet’ point.
· High-impact presence: A co-located, high-visibility position within the UK Pavilion, featuring strong UK branding to attract international delegations and high-value visitors.
· Cost-effective participation: An affordable alternative to a full stand, with potential savings on hotels and flights due to no build-up or breakdown requirements.
· Comprehensive support from SMI: SMI manages payments, liaises with SMM organisers, and appoint agents and contractors on your behalf.
· On-stand support: A supported presence throughout the event, ensuring enquiries are handled when you're away from the stand.
· Valuable networking opportunities: Access to exclusive on-stand networking receptions, bringing together UK exhibitors, clients, and potential partners.
· Enhanced visibility: Benefit from SMI's active promotion of the SMI Showcase Stand through social media and other channels.
· Shared insight and experience: – Enjoy informal knowledge-sharing and peer support from fellow SMI Showcase stand participants.
THE SMI SHOWCASE STAND
The SMI Showcase stand will encompass approx. 54sqm of shared space within the UK Pavilion. We will allocate ‘Meet & Greet’ Pods on a ‘first come first served’ basis. The SMI Showcase Stand space will also include:
· Tables for meetings
· Brochure racks for showcase companies
· Access to refreshments and beverages.
Each ‘Meet & Greet’ Pod exhibitor will be provided with a company graphic, lockable cupboard, stool and power outlet.
The SMI Showcase Stand will be located in the UK Pavilion which occupies a prime location on the upper floor of Hall B1.
Please kindly note that there will be very limited room to display equipment. The SMI are willing to hear what equipment you would like to display but it can’t be at the detriment of other stand users. We will need prior agreement before any equipment is allowed to be displayed.
