The SMI/DIT Hosted Buyers Programme
About the event
The Society of Maritime Industries is working together with The UK Department of International Trade to bring members a unique - and subsidised - opportunity in September to meet with buyers from leading European shipowners and operators. Participating companies from SMI will be invited to up-to-20 one-to-one appointments with purchasing and procurement representatives from 20 top European shipowners and operators with vessels on order. Or in other words, leading companies in buying mode!
Date & Time
The SMI/DIT Hosted Buyers Programme takes place online Friday 17 September, 09.00 – 18.00, during London International Shipping Week.
Cost of Attendance
The cost to attend and secure your place to meet with up-to-20 buyers is just £100. The programme is virtual and will take place on the well-known Swapcard platform so there is no travel involved or additional costs.
Summary & Schedule
The SMI/DIT Hosted Buyers Programme's event delivery partner is Riviera Maritime Media, a maritime and offshore information specialist with a track record of delivering high quality events for highly qualified audiences. Riviera is recruiting senior managers/technical purchasing managers/superintendents and senior buyers from leading European and UK ship owning and ship management companies. They are also working with SMI in bringing the programme to the attention of representatives from the UK maritime supply chain.
