Sea Asia 2027
Sea Asia returns to Singapore in March 2027 – here’s a recap of the event and our programme in 2025!
Sea Asia, organised by Informa Markets, the world’s largest trade show organiser, in partnership with the Singapore Maritime Foundation, celebrated its 10th edition in March 2025. As Asia’s anchor maritime and offshore event, Sea Asia is a premier maritime conference and exhibition that was held at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, during Singapore Maritime Week.
The show welcomed 20,000+ attendees, 500+ exhibiting companies, 90+ participating countries and 13 country pavilions. The UK group pavilion was organised and managed by the Society of Maritime Industries in partnership with the Department for Business and Trade.
The UK Pavilion occupied a 162 sqm space - our largest ever pavilion at Sea Asia - and hosted 24 companies. Our modular stand design was carefully developed to strike the right balance between being visually impactful and eye-catching, while ensuring good value for money for all participants. Supported by a targeted programme of activities, the UK Pavilion focused on helping companies forge new partnerships and achieve real commercial outcomes, with UK exhibitors forecasting around £14 million in revenue generated from the event.

Programme Highlights:
The UK Pavilion’s programme of events at Sea Asia was designed to maximise networking opportunities, showcase UK expertise, and strengthen relationships with key international stakeholders. We were also delighted to welcome the British High Commissioner, Nikesh Mehta, who officially opened the UK Pavilion at the event.
Activities included a welcome reception at Hopscotch, Gardens by The Bay, hosted by SMI and DBT; an on-stand drinks reception with all participating exhibitors and Singaporean Stakeholders; an insightful technical seminar on UK Leadership in Green and Digital Innovation and an evening networking reception hosted by the British High Commissioner at the Defence Advisors Residence.
Here’s what some of our Pavilion exhibitors had to say:
‘The UK pavilion, opportunities for brand exposure and introductions were an extremely valuable part of our expansion into the region. This Sea Asia marked an increased investment for us and we look forward to developing the leads and partnership opportunities which occurred as a direct result of our participation.’ 90POE
‘The UK Pavilion and work of SMI and DBT was very impactful and effective.’ Marine Autonomous Assurance Testbed
‘Our first exhibition in almost a decade. We have been delighted and also surprised by the quality of opportunities we were able to generate and also the engagement we had with our customers in the region.’ Spectec
‘This event delivers every time. We anticipate a substantial increase in revenue over the next two years within the APAC region, due to our participation at Sea Asia.’ Sonihull
