Deeper insights into Manor Renewable Energy and Manor Marine UK Webinar with Eric Briar
Eric Briar, Managing Director of Manor Renewable Energy Ltd (MRE) and Manor Marine (MM) UK Ltd, has enjoyed an extensive and influential career in the UK renewables sector and we are delighted to announce that he has kindly agreed to share his considerable knowledge and industry expertise via a presentation for the benefit of SMI members.
We hope you will be able to join us to take advantage of this unprecedented access to learn about his business and the market within which MRE and Manor Marine operate. There will also be opportunities to gain valuable insights regarding the future of the offshore renewables industry, an understanding of commercial opportunities for the supply chain and to interact during a question and answer session.

About Eric Briar
18 years at sea, serving up to Master, Eric spent nearly a decade operating a fleet of Oil and Gas vessels. Since 2007 he has been involved in the wind, wave and tidal sectors providing marine expertise, vessel build, charter and contract management on a number of innovative and challenging projects.
In 2013, Eric and Toby Mead started Manor Renewable Energy Ltd (MRE) and developed engineering solutions for various clients whilst operating, chartering and owning Wind Farm Service Vessels (WFSV) which they built at Manor Marine (MM) in Portland. In 2017, they acquired MM and immediately expanded their site investing heavily in staff and the facilities.
MM currently employ 70 staff and have 2 x 26m WFSVs under construction for a client as well as a number of large engineering and fabrication projects ongoing, whilst servicing MREs maintenance requirements. MRE own a fleet of 5 vessels whilst having 2 more on charter with around 110 people on various projects across Europe and the Far East.
