UK Pavilion Programme at Nor-Shipping
The UK Pavilion’s programme of events at Nor-Shipping was carefully curated to maximise networking opportunities, highlight the strength of UK maritime expertise, and reinforce relationships with key international stakeholders.
Highlights included:
Welcome Reception on Stand
Hosted by SMI, this informal reception brought together all UK Pavilion exhibitors and guests to open the week with a strong sense of collaboration and shared purpose. We were honoured to host the British Ambassador and colleagues from the British Embassy in Oslo, who spent time meeting each of the UK Pavilion exhibitors and learning more about their work in the Norwegian market.
Exhibitors’ Reception
A relaxed and informal Drinks reception that provided UK Pavilion exhibitors with the opportunity to network with one another, while also inviting and engaging with existing and potential customers. The event created a valuable platform for building relationships and showcasing UK expertise to international contacts.
VIP Visit from Norwegian State Secretary
A visit that underscored the importance of UK–Norway collaboration.
Ambassadors’ Reception
A prestigious evening event, kindly hosted by the British Ambassador at the Ambassador’s Residence. Held in partnership with Lloyd’s Register the reception provided UK companies with high-level networking opportunities and valuable visibility among key industry and government stakeholders.
Together, these events created a dynamic platform to promote UK innovation, build commercial links, and support ongoing engagement with global maritime partners.
SMI will once again organise the UK Group Pavilion at Nor-Shipping. The event will return, bigger and bolder in 2027. To register your interest in exhibiting, please complete the form below.
