Cyber Security Leadership Symposium 2023

Be at the forefront of Maritime Cyber Security by joining the annual flagship Cyber Leadership Symposium hosted by Templar Executives and Lancaster University on July 6th and 7th!
This year marks a significant milestone as the inaugural Maritime Panel is introduced to the event. The maritime sector has been making global headlines in recent years with numerous Cyber attacks across its ecosystem. Cyber Security in the Maritime sector has a huge potential to affect the safety of crew, vessels, cargo and port and ship building operations. Still the sector has been notoriously slow to adapt and respond to the Cyber issue. Addressing this agenda in today’s increasingly digital environment is therefore imperative.
The highly anticipated panel session, ‘Leading the Cyber Agenda in the Maritime Environment’, will feature industry leaders and Cyber experts, who will shed light on the challenges and opportunities in shaping business strategies within the Maritime sector. We are thrilled to announce that our very own CEO of the Society of Maritime Industries, Tom Chant, will be joining the panel, alongside Captain Naoki Saito, General Manager and Head of Cyber Security, Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (ClassNK), Prof Basil Germond from Lancaster University and Bill Egerton from Astaara.
The event will also feature talks from Senior Government Officials and Ministers, along with an array of industry panels featuring experts from a diverse range of sectors. This leadership gathering aims to foster collaboration, sharing of best practices, and networking.
Don't miss out on this exceptional two-day event, and secure your attendance with the exclusive code "TEMPLAR25," for 25% discount on tickets for a limited time only: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/cyber-security-leadership-symposium-2023-tickets-560191406577
