Robosys Secures a Contract From Legacy Marine for Supply of an AI-Driven Autonomous Control System for A 9.5m USV
Robosys Automation, the AI-driven maritime autonomy & smart-shipping specialist, has secured a contract from Legacy Marine of South Africa, for the supply and integration of AI systems for a fully autonomous USV. The bespoke fully autonomous AI-driven unmanned surface vessel (USV) has been designed by Icarus Marine and will be constructed by Legacy Marine, which is headquartered in Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha), South Africa.
MASRWG Conference 2024 - MASSive Development

AutoNaut USV Purchased for Hurricane Tracking
The AutoNaut Unscrewed Surface Vessel (USV), built in the UK, has been purchased by the Barbados Meteorological Services (BMS) to provide data to assist with Hurricane tracking. The sensors on board will provide BMS scientists with humidity, conductivity, temperature, depth, wind and wave data. This will allow the scientist to monitor and observe the changes as different weather patterns approach the island of Barbados.
