Sea Japan 2024
Sea Japan 2024
10-12th April 2024, Tokyo Big Sight Exhibition Center – East Hall 1-3, Tokyo, Japan
The 15th edition of the Sea Japan international maritime exhibition and conference is set to take place at Tokyo Big Sight from April 10th to 12th, 2024. This premier event will see over 600 exhibitors from 30 countries and regions convene in Tokyo, facilitating connections with Japan's leading shipowners and shipbuilders. Anticipated to be the largest in terms of scale and participating companies, the 2024 event will focus on clean energy. This presents a golden opportunity for international enterprises to spotlight their cutting-edge technologies and offerings to potential partners and buyers within the Japanese market – a global leader in shipbuilding.
Sea Japan 2024 will concurrently host Offshore & Port Tech 2024, an event that will serve as a dynamic platform for knowledge-sharing between emerging ocean businesses and the maritime sector. This includes discussions on the blue economy, advancements in marine renewable energy like offshore wind power generation, and strategies for achieving carbon neutrality in port operations. The Japanese maritime market is mature, established and reliable. If you have outstanding products and services to offer, you will find quality buyers in Japan. Meet them at Sea Japan 2024.
THE UK GROUP AT SEA JAPAN 2024
The Society of Maritime Industries (SMI) is the organiser for the UK Group. Companies are hereby invited to join the UK Group.
The advantages of joining the UK Group are:
• SMI as the group organiser, deals directly with the SEA JAPAN exhibition organisers, coordinates payments, appoints agents and stand contractors, coordinated shipping, briefs the exhibitors, etc.
• Participants exhibit as a co-located Group in the UK pavilion with strong visual UK branding which attracts visitors and international delegations. SMI will be leveraging all contacts possible via the Embassy in Tokyo for the exhibition.
• A networking programme, managed by the UK Group staff for UK Pavilion exhibitors and the local maritime community.
• Social media (LinkedIn/Twitter) promotion of the pavilion.
We need a minimum of 5 companies to commit to this pavilion offer. If we do not recruit enough companies we will refer you over to the sales team at Informa – the event organisers.
STAND & GRAPHICS
The UK Pavilion is located in a prime location at the front of the exhibition hall. The floor plan is shown below. We will use an enhanced shell-scheme and each stand will be finished to a high standard with strong, visible, UK branding.
Each stand will be carpeted and fitted with furniture - your package includes, Information Counter, 4x Chair, Round table, Wastepaper basket, 5Amp/220V Socket, Spotlights. Any other additions to the standard package must be organised directly with the show organisers and payment settled by the exhibitor separately.
Once the standbuilder has been appointed we will work with them to get the best possible price for having graphics produced and mounted at the show. Your Stand Graphics can be printed and mounted by the standbuilder, SMI will provide an outline of graphics costs and co-ordinate with the standbuilder.
Stands will be available from 9sqm up to 24sqm (in 3sqm increments). Booking quickly is of prime importance as it is normally impossible to increase our space allocation and the show will be sold out. If you wish to exhibit on a corner stand, please make your request at the time of booking. Corner stands will be available in strict order of booking, while we will do our best to fulfil any requests; locations cannot always be guaranteed and are strictly first-come, first-served.
Please kindly note: No extra pop-ups or stand systems will be allowed as they will interrupt the open sight line format of the pavilion. It will also cause your neighbouring stand to see the unfinished back of it which would be unacceptable.
COST OF PARTICIPATING
Stands in UK pavilion (minimum 9 sqm) as per the package listed above.
• 9 sqm - £4,590
• 12sqm - £6,120
• 15 sqm - £7,650
• 18 sqm - £9,180
Plus, the SMI Management Fee for UK Group exhibitors in UK pavilion:
• Member rate £1,215 ex UK VAT (£1,458 inc VAT)
• Non-member rate £1,425 ex UK VAT (£1,710 inc VAT)
