Company Information
Summary:
Roxtec cable and pipe sealing solutions, certified by Lloyd’s Register, DNV-GL, Bureau Veritas, ABS and others, reduce the risks of water ingress, fire, blast, and other operational hazards.
As a global company, the Roxtec brand is easily recognised at shipyards worldwide. Repairs to cable and piping systems can be managed at sea, without the need for numerous stock items since the adaptable modules enable the transits to be future-proof. This unique feature makes it easier for maintenance teams to upgrade systems according to new demands.
One of Roxtec’s innovations is the ability to seal plastic pipes, without the need for welding, giving the operator confidence and reducing weight on-board, and the other advantages gained.
Roxtec can also help simplify design work; use the free web-based application Roxtec Transit Designer™ or they can work on a customised design to create tailor-made solutions.
As sealing experts, Roxtec know how important transits are to ensure high safety standards, therefore they offer transit safety programmes. They can inspect transits on-board operating fleets and verify transits on new-builds.
Roxtec ensures product availability, training and expertise on the ground worldwide.

Labour Party Conference Signals a Maritime Shift
The maritime debate surrounding Labour Party Conference 2026 extended beyond the speeches delivered in Liverpool. As delegates gathered on Sunday 27 September, the Cabinet Office announced that the National Shipbuilding Office would oversee all future civil ship procurement across government; the following day, Chancellor John Healey used his conference speech to place major investment in British shipbuilding within his vision for a “new age of industrialisation”. Although the announcements came through different channels, together they pointed towards a more strategic approach to maritime capability, connecting procurement more explicitly with economic growth, national security and industrial resilience
