APM 2024
Asia Pacific Maritime (APM) is a biennial trade show in the globally important market of Singapore. Maritime Singapore is home to more than 5,000 maritime establishments, including major shipyards and over 140 of the world’s top international shipping groups. These groups encompass ship management, agency, finance, insurance, broking and surveying, all based locally.
The sector is responsible for 160,000 jobs in Singapore. The sustained and strong growth of intra-regional trade within the Asia Pacific region continues, making it one of the world's fastest-growing markets. This exhibition attracts visitors from the surrounding region, so you can expect to see attendees from Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and China.
APM is a leading exhibition and conference in Asia, showcasing a comprehensive overview of vessel sector services and solutions, technology, vessel equipment, supplies and much more.
The UK Group at APM 2024
The Society of Maritime Industries (SMI) is the organiser for the UK Group. Companies are hereby invited to join the UK Group.
The advantages of joining the UK Group are:
- SMI as the group organiser, deals directly with the APM 2024 exhibition organisers, co-ordinates payments, appoints agents and stand contractors, coordinated shipping, briefs the exhibitors, etc.
- Participants exhibit as a co-located Group in the UK pavilion with strong visual UK branding which attracts visitors and international delegations.
- A programme, managed by the UK Group staff, ensures that visiting delegations are brought to all UK Group exhibitors.
- We expect a British Embassy networking reception should take place as usual for UK Pavilion exhibitors and the local maritime community.
- Interaction with the Department of Business & Trade and in-country specialists to maximise introductions and contacts at the event.
- Social media (LinkedIn/Twitter) promotion of the pavilion
UK Pavilion exhibitors will also enjoy access to free buyers/visitor invitation flyers, complimentary company entry in the Show directory and preview as well as a media information contact point for assistance with press releases.
We need a minimum of 6 companies to commit to this pavilion offer. If we do not recruit enough companies we will refer you over to the sales team at Reed – the event organisers.
Stand
The UK Pavilion is located in a prime location at the front of the exhibition (basement) hall. The floor plan is shown here with the UK stand outlined in red:
We will use an enhanced shell-scheme and each stand will be finished to a high standard with strong, visible, UK branding:
Each stand will be carpeted and fitted with furniture as per the entitlement table below - your package includes, Information Counter, 3x Chair, Round table, Wastepaper basket, 13 Amp Power point, Spotlights. For 18 sqm stands, you will receive 2x Information Counter, 6 x Chair, 2x Round table, 2x Wastepaper basket, 2x 13 Amp Power point and additional spotlights.
Any other additions to the standard package must be organised directly with the show organisers and payment settled by the exhibitor separately.
Graphics
The cost of the production of the backwall graphic and logo on your information counter is included in your stand. Advantages for you include:
- Professionally produced graphic which enhances the presentation of your company - Cost saving by not needing to produce graphics in the UK and ship to Singapore
- Reduced burden on staff in terms of stand build You will need to supply artwork for your backwall which is typically a high-resolution, pdf format.
Your logo should be an .ai or .eps file so it does not pixelate in a larger size. Further technical specifications and deadlines will be supplied.
Stand Size and Position
The minimum stand size is 9sqm however larger stand sizes are available at your request. If you wish to exhibit on a corner stand, please make your request at the time of booking. Corner stands will be available in strict order of booking, while we will do our best to fulfil any requests; locations cannot always be guaranteed and are strictly first-come, first-served.
Please kindly note: No extra pop-ups or stand systems will be allowed as they will interrupt the open sight line format of the pavilion. It will also cause your neighbouring stand to see the unfinished back of it which would be unacceptable.
