IMDEX ASIA 2023

INTRODUCTION
Asia's leading naval and maritime defence event, IMDEX Asia has mustered the world’s naval elite and the finest fleets of maritime innovations. Since its inaugural edition in 1997, the maritime and defence exhibition has steered forward at the helm of the industry, becoming a platform for businesses of the sea to debut its latest vessels, systems and technologies. With established conferences and real-time discussions on maritime security, IMDEX Asia continues to draw a plethora of global leaders and distinguished guests for each edition. 

THE UK GROUP AT IMDEX
UK companies are invited to take advantage of the UK Group package.  The advantages of joining the UK Group are:
•    SMI has secured a prime location in the exhibition hall for the UK Group exhibitors using enhanced shell-scheme stands.  This means higher footfall to your stand than you would booking individually.
•    The UK Pavilion includes an information centre and refreshments for the exclusive use of exhibitors in the UK Group.
•    Social media (LinkedIn/Twitter) promotion of the pavilion
•    Branding to highlight the UK Pavilion
•    A programme, managed by the UK Group staff, ensures that visiting delegations are brought to all UK Group exhibitors.
•    Interaction with the DIT DSE team to maximise introductions and contacts at the event.

Shell Scheme Standbuild
Please see below examples of the standbuild.  Items included in the standbuild:
•    Production of the backwall graphic 3 x (2.4m high and 1m wide) graphic.  Artwork to be supplied by the exhibitor.  This means little to no set up time for you and a professional presentation of your brand.
•    Lockable counter with your company logo on
•    Round table with 3 chairs plus stool
•    Brochure rack
•    Electrics inc power socket (laptop/phone charging)
•    Lighting
•    Carpet
•    Waste paper basket
Further items like TV monitors, counters, cupboards are also available from the exhibitor manual.

Standbuild & Space Price
Price per square metre £875 for space and standbuild inc graphic production.
9sqm        £7,875
12sqm        £10,500
Each company is required by the organiser to pay a Singapore$1,000 (~£615) registration fee
9sqm        £7,875 + £615 = £8,490 
12sqm        £10,500 + £615 = £11,115​​​​​​​

SMI Management Fee
Member        £825 + UK VAT
Non-Member        £980 plus UK VAT

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
All relevant costs have been calculated using current exchange rates at time of issue; we reserve the right to adjust the charges in the event of any significant change.  The SMI Management Fee covers the costs of pre-event preparations, recruitment and administration prior to, during and after the event.  In all cases, the SMI Management Fee is non-refundable.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT
The provision of space, agreements for individual stands, arrangements for design and construction of the UK pavilion stands and the administration of the UK Group, including additional charges, are covered in the attached Society of Maritime Industries (SMI) Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions together with this “Offer” and the Rules and Regulations issued by the exhibition organiser are deemed to be incorporated in and form part of this contract.  Details given are subject to any changes with particular regard to the exhibition organiser’s charges, government legislation, etc. 

LIABILITY
No liability shall be attached to the Society of Maritime Industries or any of its constituent trade associations or groups or any member of its staff in respect of any accident, injury, loss or damage arising out of, or in any way connected with, the display of goods in pursuance of this event or in any other way whatsoever.
