Helping maritime organisations clearly prioritise their cyber-physical risks.

CyberOwl develops technologies and products to shift organisations towards a risk-based security posture. Our flagship products for the maritime sector are Medulla and Incus Marine.

Medulla is a cloud-based  cyber-physical  risk prioritisation system that provides real-time, remote protective monitoring for vessel IT infrastructure and connected OT systems. This is enhanced by Incus Marine, an onboard, localised, vessel network traffic anomalous detection system.

Together the systems provide real-time visibility and raise early warning on suspicious activity on the vessel systems and assets. This allows IT services, operations and engineers to take preventative action before any real cyber-physical damage or operational loss is sustained.

We are currently working with some of the world's largest wet and dry cargo (tanker, bulker, crude carriers etc.) fleet owner I operators. Medulla has also been used successfully on land-based systems with SCADA I industrial control systems, like water treatment systems and has applications in ports and terminal.

CyberOwl was shortlisted for the Lloyds Science of Risk Prize, selected into the first GCHQ Cyber Accelerator Programme and is part of the UK Government's  cyber innovation centre of excellence - the London Office for Rapid Cybersecurity Advancement (LORCA).
