Summary:

Heat Trace Limited (HTL) are an innovative British manufacturer and global supplier of electric heat tracing cables, control and monitoring systems, associated ancillaries, for onshore and offshore.

Description:

Heat Trace Limited (HTL) is an innovative British manufacturer of electric heat tracing cables and associated equipment and is now considered to be the technological leader in heat tracing system design and manufacture.  With two UK manufacturing plants and with representation in over 50 countries, HTL can provide a comprehensive range of self-regulating and constant power output heating cables.  These products are used extensively in the Oil/Gas & Petrochemical industries both onshore and offshore, as well as in shipbuilding and offshore structures, plus many other energy sectors.

HTL completed the world’s first subsea, electrically heat traced, reeled pipe-in-pipe system, in partnership with Technip UK for TOTAL Oil for the Islay Project in the North Sea.  HTL products have also been used to heat the helideck for the Stena Drillmax Ice – the world’s first Polar Class Deep-sea Drillship.

HTL specialise in very long pipeline heating systems for offshore and inshore subsea pipelines and onshore cross-country pipelines.  The product range includes heaters with the highest power outputs and maximum withstand temperatures available anywhere, together with circuit lengths that surpass those of our competitors.  These benefits result in lower CAPEX and OPEX and can ensure significant improvements in energy efficiency.
