About the show

The Middle East Workboats & Offshore Marine market is booming. Fleet replacement, modernisation and upgrades are under way across the board and regional operators are embracing new technologies in all fields.

In the energy sector, for example, offshore support vessel and service craft owners are adopting more sophisticated dynamic positioning specifications for new vessels, partly in response to more robust requirements from charterers. Meanwhile, propulsion designers and engine manufacturers are providing a broad new spectrum of machinery choice aimed at raising efficiency, reducing emissions and cutting fuel consumption.

Significant expansion of the regional escort tug fleet is under way, aimed partly at handling rapidly rising traffic volumes but also the larger vessels which now serve many of the region’s buoyant trades.
