SMI and IMPA announce deal to benefit their members

The Society of Maritime Industries (SMI) and the International Marine Purchasers Association (IMPA) have announced a deal to benefit their members. Members of both organisations will benefit from shared promotion of events.

The SMI is the voice of the maritime engineering and business sector in the UK.  As the UK trade body for the industry the SMI undertakes lobbying across government and runs a number of UK events per annum to develop member's networks and businesses.  SMI also have an extensive overseas program of events and a close partnership with the Department of International Trade.

UK companies who are members of IMPA, but not members of SMI  will be able to benefit from the member rates for SMI's overseas events typically saving at least £200 per event.

Details of SMI's international program can be found at www.maritimeindustries.org/SMI-UK-Pavilions-at-International-Exhibitions

IMPA is a global organisation based in the UK that connects maritime purchasers with suppliers all over the world.  It supports their members with training courses, events and a wide selection of online resources and publications.

SMI members who are not members of IMPA will be able to take part in the IMPA London, Athens and Singapore events at IMPA's member rates.

Details of IMPA's events can be found at impa.net/networking-events
