SMI hosts the Municipal Authority of Zhuhai, China

On the eve of the official opening of the world’s longest bridge over water between Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macao, a delegation from Zhuhai Municipal Authority visited SMI to discuss the scope for business opportunities for UK maritime engineering and marine science companies in the district. 

SMI hosts the Municipal Authority of Zhuhai, ChinaThe huge infrastructure developments under China’s Greater Bay initiative in the Pearl River Delta was the catalyst for the visit. The delegation was led by Mr Zhou Haijin who issued an invitation to SMI to include Zhuhai in a future visit to the region.

“Through the contact of SMI’s China manager, Chen Li Ming, member companies can be assisted in developing their business in all parts of China.  The visit helped to highlight the excellent facilities available in Zhuhai for companies seeking new opportunities.”
