Innovation & Technology
On behalf of the MILC, the Innovation & Technology Group (ITG) coordinates the innovation and technology requirements of the UK marine industry. It will specifically:

Actively coordinate participation of the whole UK marine industry in identifying innovation & technology needs

Promote marine industry innovation and technology, including generating and maintaining the roadmap
-
Influence funding calls to promote the UK marine industry needs (Technology Strategy Board, Research Councils, Development gencies, EU Framework Programmes, etc)
-
Facilitate project development for industry, academia and other stakeholders
-
Be a focal point for communicating marine industry challenges to relevant TSB Knowledge Transfer Networks.
