General Information

The most recently formed association under the Sociaty of maritime industries is Maritime Security and Safety Group (MSSG).

The recent launch of the Maritime Security and Safety Group within the Society reflects the growing concern we all share about international maritime terrorism and piracy and the need to focus on what the UK maritime industry can do to contribute to the fulfilment of the UK’s national security strategy.

An MSSG Council, of 7 elected members operating in the maritime industry, has been set up.
