The Association of Marine Scientific Industries (AMSI) is a constituent association of the Society of Maritime Industries (SMI) and benefits from its significant resources across all maritime sectors. As a market orientated trade association, AMSI supports companies in the marine science and technology sector and is also the focus for the oceanographic and marine environment interests of members of the Society of Maritime Industries.
What can AMSI do for my business? Useful Information: The NERC Marine Facilities programme covers all of the seagoing scientific services and facilities for which NERC provides infrastructure and capital funding in order that they can be provided ‘free at the point of use’ to the NERC community. An InfoBase of the European Research vessels (RVs), EurOceanic, is available. The InfoBase, including specifications on 221 operating RVs longer than 10 meters, can be consulted by clicking here. This new InfoBase is a contribution of the Members of EurOcean to facilitate the access to existing marine research infrastructures in Europe and to build up a European Marine Research Area.
