  • Cost Reduction of Offshore Wind Energy – Dan Kyle Spearman, Associate at the Carbon Trust will report and review on the achievement and prospects for taking cost out of generating power from offshore wind.
  • Does the UK need to develop Floating Foundations for Offshore Wind? - Andrew Scott, Programme Manager, HDV Marine and Offshore Renewable Energy, Energy Technologies Institute will report on the ETI’s study into the costs of offshore wind in the UK including its front end engineering design study into its floating platform demonstration project.
  • Statoil’s Hywind Scotland  Pilot Project - Nachaat Tahmaz, Leader Project Management & Control, New Energy Solution, Statoil (U.K.) will report on the progress of creating the Hywind floating wind farm.
