Senior Electronics Engineer

Candidate should have at least five years’ experience and specific expertise in analogue circuit design preferably in an instrumentation development environment. The work will involve mixed signal design including preamplifiers, filters, power supplies, interfacing and analoguedigital conversion for precision instrumentation applications. Some experience or knowledge of microprocessor based circuit design and embedded software would be desirable. The candidate will be expected to work independently or as a member of a team contributing to all aspects of the product development cycle from requirement analysis through design & development into production. Candidate would be expected to produce design documentation and test specifications. Practical skills would be desirable but not essential. Candidate will be expected to provide technical support to Sales and Marketing for bidding/proposal writing and technical assistance to the Customer Support Manager and Production Department. Candidate would be expected to provide occasional offshore support as required including some overseas travel.

Technical Author

ASV Global is looking for an exceptional Technical Author to join our busy, growing and motivated team located in Portchester, Hampshire, UK.  The prime objectives of the role are to play a prime role in the development and delivery of ASV Global’s technical and commercial documentation and contribute to the overall success of ASV products; work closely with managers and staff from across the company to help ensure that ASV documents are produced, delivered and maintained to the highest quality and standards; assist with the continual improvement of end user technical documentation by working with all ASV staff and operators to provide innovative and informative delivery of technical content.

Defence Technical Sales Manager

ASV Global is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager, based in Portsmouth, who will manage product and system sales into the defence markets in Europe, the Middle East and Asia (EMEA). This role will require some travel (about 20% of time) to conferences, client visits, and ASV Global demonstrations.  Mostly domestic, some international. 

Electrical Design Engineer

ASV is looking for exceptional electrical design engineers with a proven track record in delivering complex systems to tight deadlines. We expect you to be the engineer that other people can count on and the one that people turn to when the going gets tough. You should attack every problem with enthusiasm and share the team’s passion for quality, delivery and customer satisfaction. In return you will get to work in an environment where no two days are the same and where your contribution makes a real difference. You will need a good degree (or equivalent experience) in electrical or electronics engineering, with a significant body of experience, preferably gained whilst working in a marine environment.

Marine Electrical Engineer

ASV Global is looking for experienced Marine Electricians to join our busy, growing and motivated team located in Portchester. The ideal candidate will have significant electrical installation experience including DC and AC wiring, Ethernet and NMEA2000 networks, standard marine electronics and a demonstrable understanding of anti-corrosion techniques. You will be integral to the successful growth and development of the company.

Electrical Engineer

ASV requires an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our busy, growing and motivated team located in Portchester. The ideal candidate will have significant electrical installation experience. This will include DC and AC wiring, NMEA network, marine electronics and a demonstrable understanding of anti-corrosion techniques. The work will include testing and commissioning with on-water time in the UK and abroad. This is a full time position. The hours of work are 8.30 to 5.30 Monday to Friday.

Software Engineer

ASV is looking for exceptional software engineers to join our expanding software team and you should have a proven track record in delivering complex code to tight deadlines. We expect you to be the engineer that other people can count on and the one that people turn to when the going gets tough. You should attack every problem with enthusiasm and share the team’s passion for delivery and customer satisfaction. In return you will get to work in an environment where no two days are the same and where your contribution makes a real difference. You will need a good degree (or equivalent) in a computer science discipline, with a significant body of experience, preferably gained whilst working in a marine environment. 

Software Engineer (graduate)

ASV is looking for exceptional graduate software engineers to join our expanding software team. We expect you to be the engineer that other people can count on and the one that people turn to when the going gets tough. You should attack every problem with enthusiasm and share the team’s passion for delivery and customer satisfaction. In return you will get to work in an environment where no two days are the same and where your contribution makes a real difference. You will need a good degree (or equivalent) in a computer science discipline and you should have a track record in delivering complex code to tight deadlines.
