SMI ANNUAL DINNER
HOUSE OF COMMONS, LONDON

Friday 24th November 2017 | 1900-2245

This event is exclusively for members of the Society and their guests.

The Society of Maritime Industries Annual Dinner will be held once again on Friday 24th November in the Members’ Dining Room of the House of Commons.  The President of the Society of Maritime Industries, Mr Archie Bethel CBE, will be in attendance at the dinner which will be hosted formally by our Honorary Vice-President, Mr Jim Fitzpatrick MP.

The President’s Reception, commencing at 19.00, will take place in the Strangers’ Dining Room. As usual, there will be the opportunity to join specially arranged guided tours of the Palace of Westminster between 19.00 and 19.45. These are highly recommended. Dinner will be served at 20.00 with carriages at 22.45 prompt.

As it is the start of the weekend the annual dinner is as much a social occasion as for business and spouses/partners are most welcome.  Furthermore, joining one of the tours gives you and your guests ‘behind the scenes’ access to the House of Commons and the House of Lords.

The guest speaker will be the Revd. Andrew Wright, Secretary General at The Mission to Seafarers.

This event is exclusively for members of the Society and their guests.

The cost per head is £230 + VAT (£276).  Tables seat 10 persons (there is limited availability for tables of 12 persons).  Applications are required as soon as possible and no later than Friday 27th October 2017.

The dress code is black tie for men, cocktail/evening dress for women.
